Evie's Birthday Party!

Saturday morning, Bekah put on her party dress and we headed down to her friend Evie's Birthday party, she was turning one! Now, please notice the flowers on Bekah, to me, they are an a simple, yet much needed accessory . . .

But to her friend Henry (and Evie's cousin), they are real flowers that must be sniffed! See, the minute we walked into the party and I set Bekah down in her carseat, Henry came up to his good friend Bekah and leaned his head down to and started to sniff her! At first, we were wondering what the heck he was doing, when his smart mommy (Rebekah L.) said, "he's smelling the flowers!" Teehee! It was sooo cute! Every time we asked him to smell the flowers, he would lean in and do just that! Evie's mommy, Mary Pat, made the cutest party hats for the kiddos and here we are, TRYING to capture the moment : ).
(Me and Bekah, Mary Pat and Evie, Rebekah and Henry)
Mary Pat even made a fondant cake for the special birthday girl!
Evie, mom and dad opening up her presents:Bekah and Henry wanted to give Evie a flower hat for her birthday so this is the hat I made her!
Here is Evie, with her new hat,
wowing the crowd with her beauty : )

See, Bekah was inspired by this hat and hopes that one day they can be twinkies:
Since Henry is going to be a big brother real soon ( January!), he was practicing how to be sweet to the baby. I have no doubt he is going to be the best big brother!

After the party, Bekah invited Henry to her house for a sleepover. Here is Henry trying out her pink bumbo! : ) We had a great time with the Louis', and can't wait to find out real soon if the newest addition to their family will be a girl or a boy!

Happy Birthday again Evie! Bekah has had a great time hanging out with you here in Houston! Evie already is a very good influence on Bekah. See, when Bekah found out that Evie got a membership to the Houston Children's Museum, she too had to go out and join herself.
Here she is with her first "membership card" to anything,
showing what a little "positive peer pressure" can do!
See you at the "Tot Spot" friend!
