This past Thursday and Friday, Zack had to take his Board Exam in San Antonio, giving us the perfect excuse to take Rebekah back to her "roots" and show her off! I was pretty nervous, packing for 5 days for a baby, a forgetful mommy and a weiner dog, but it actually was a success, thanks to our wonderful and accomodating grandmas and grandpas!
People always seem to have an opinion on who the baby looks like, and for the most part, everyone is going with Zack. It's been so entertaining to hear everyone's thoughts!
Here are some pics, you be the judge : )
(Rebekah)
( we had to scan the picture, it might be hard to see, but you get the general idea!)
The first few nights, we stayed with Granny May and Grandpa. While in SA, Bekah got to meet:
Our sweet neighbor, Barbara:

Her second cousin, Kolby. Teehee, isn't that funny, the way it looks like he is hitting her?!

Her great grandpa and her Great Aunt Robin ( Robin is holding Kolby)

This is a special picture because it is our Grandpa with all of his great grandkids!
Grandpa officially has 5 great grand kids now. In the picture are me and Rebekah, Teagan, Blake, Luke, Grandpa, Alexis and Kolby and then Matt and Mackenzie:

Mackenzie is Rebekah's only other girl (2nd) cousin, the rest our cute little boys. Here she is testing out Rebekah's bouncer:

While in SA we also got to meet Trig, our friends Baker and Kelly's little boy. This special little boy has been in our prayers for months now and it was wondeful to finally meet this little miracle!

Me, Rebekah, Kelly and Trig

Then, it was off to the ranch with the Burkharts! Rebekah made sure to wear her cowgirl get up and bring her little horsey wherever she went ( ie.slept!)

Rebekah was so happy to be reunited with her Auntie Sarah, the Auntie that she also is told she looks alot like! Someone even told me that she sounds like Sarah! I wondered, how often do they hear Sarah cry?? : )

The rocking chairs on the ranch had a whole new meaning with a baby now!

Lazy days at the ranch . . .

Auntie Sarah and her BF, Adam. Rebekah liked him alot too : ).
With her proud grandparents:

Judy, Art's wife who is the foreman on the ranch. The Burkharts are so
fortunate to have such dear friends helpt to take care of this special place.
